The first Home Control test kits arrived from our partner devolo AG and we could not wait to unpack them! We had a small test run before the kits went out to our test households in and around Siegen in March. Over the next three years, developing guidelines governing the design and improved usability of Smart Home solutions is in the hands of 13 households. A Living Lab approach will investigate how the products are being used and integrated into the daily lives of the participants. This will help identify needs and specific problems that need to be improved and worked on.
